Round the world with Michaela and Tom

The day is nearly here...19th October 2010 and we are going to be heading off on our travels round the world!! It seems like we have been saving and planning forever and the day is finally getting close.

We start of in S.America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay) then head to Australia, South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) then China, Japan and India wohoooooooooooo!!!!

We are going to try and keep a blog of stuff we get up to and pics off course - we will see how internet access goes and how much time we get to write on it!!

Sorry for Lack of Updates!!!!

OK so we have had another big gap in updates but we are just having too much fun to write!! The last couple of weeks have been fantastic - catching up with loads of friends, Sarah and Maire in Sydney, Denise and Mark in Newcastle, Kate and Patrick in Brisbane, Steve and Cathy in Proserpine, Liz, Jon and Seppy in Melbourne and we have just left Sylvie and Ben in Singapore!!! You have all welcomed us with open arms, let us stay in your beautiful houses - a million times better than hostel dorms :o), showed us around your cities, treated us to nice meals or cooked for us, drank and partied with us and it has been outstanding!!
MASSIVE  to all of you and we only hope that we can return the favour if any of you make it to Ireland :o)

We are on a train now from Singapore to Kuala Lumpar in Malaysia - its 7 hours long and we are going to resist the temptation to sit back and watch a dvd, read our books or just fall asleep and instead write the blog!!

Uruguay is next on the list of catch ups…so hope you enjoy :o)
